News It or Lose It: November '13 Updates

Hello!

We don't update this page often enough, but I wanted to drop in and let the interested parties know that we've had a hell of a year so far. So far, we've gone on two tours, played SXSW, went to Northside Festival, played Variety Playhouse, and booked a third tour to happen in December of this year.

And, we've got this new 30 minute cassette tape that we just released. It's got our most recent singles on side one and some unreleased demos/cool surprises on side two. We made a video for one of the demos on side two. The song's called "Clawfeet" and it's probably something that will appear on our second LP (in a different, more complete form, of course). Watch/listen below if you're so inclined:

We've got some new shirts as well that would look splendid in your clothing collection. Here's a picture of that if you're so inclined:

If you're so inclined, you can get both the shirt and the tape from a show or from our Bandcamp site at http://smallreactions.bandcamp.com/merch

More info on our debut LP and our last tour of the year soon!

Housecleansing

Hey Y'all -

I just wanted to throw out a few quick updates on the Reacs (can you start your own nickname? Did the Replacements?):

- We've got music video for "Michael J. Foxworthy" in the works.

- We just finished playing a terrific string of dates in early June, and before that did our first Sofar Sounds secret show in Grant Park. Pictures of that here. Last week included a show at the 529 with the lovely Bleeding Rainbow, FAT CREEPS, and Shockwave Riderz.

- We'll be playing a handful of Atlanta shows in July & August.

- We're sitting sitting on a complete debut LP.

- "                                                                 ."

We're also currently on the lookout for a button press and a silk screener - y'know, one of those. Give us a shout at smallreactions@gmail.com if you have any leads.

Curt and Mark at Magic Marker Records still have a few copies left of the "Nerve POP b/w Sudden Walks" 7" if you haven't yet got your hands on one. You can find it here and also at our shows.

And lastly, referencing bullet points 4 and 5, we're ecstatic about the new record and cannot wait to divulge more information (secrets) about it!

Thanks for reading or scanning all the way down,

SH

CYCLE! A SHOW! DEMOS! SOON! M!X!ING!

I'm trying to break the cycle of posting for a few weeks and then taking 8 months off.

Small Reactions is playing our last show of the year (probably) on the 27th of November at the 529 along with Red Sea, Hear Hums, Freak Heat Waves, and Perfect High Fives Everytime. You should come see it. It's recommended, I'm sure.

Finished tracking last weekend with Luci for our as yet untitled LP just in time for a long, lonely winter of mixing. M!XING!

I'm also going to be posting some more of those mixtapes along with some SH demos if that's to yr liking.

In any case, talk soon. scottyollyollyollie.
